I recently joined the WordPress Credits program as part of my university coursework. The program introduces students to open-source contribution through the WordPress ecosystem.
My first step was setting up this website, creating the required WordPress Credits category, and getting familiar with the WordPress environment.
Since my background is mainly in software development, working with WordPress has been a different experience from the tools and workflows I normally use. Setting up the site gave me a better understanding of how WordPress organizes content through posts, pages, templates, blocks, and categories.
This website will serve as a simple record of the work I complete during the program, including contributions, technical challenges, and things I learn along the way.
